Welcome to "Heart of the South!" We're a two hour Southern Gospel music program that's been on the air since 2001. The program currently airs on 9 stations across western Canada, and around the world on the World Wide Web. We are looking for more stations to carry "Heart of the South" - if a station near you could benefit from this two hour weekly show, please contact us! The uniqueness of "Heart of the South" is its local flavor, while playing the top Southern Gospel in the world. An example of this is the program feature called the "Southern Gospel Concert Connection" - a two minute program segment, individual to each station, where listeners are informed about area concerts. In addition to highlighting concerts, both of national and regional prominence, the program also features some regional artists and plays some of their music. 'Heart of the South' is (currently) produced in Canada - a country certainly not known for its Southern Gospel! As such, it must adhere to Canadian broadcasting laws, which require at least 20% Canadian content. This gives opportunity for regional artists and groups to share their musical talents with our listeners. Upon expanding into other countries, we would then feature regional artists from these areas as well, in addition to artists and groups of world-wide fame. We'd love to hear from you! God bless!
