About us: Mission Statement Our purpose in singing gospel music is to lift up Jesus, that lost people will be saved and Christians encouraged in their relationship with Him. "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord". Joshua 24:15 This is an evangelistic ministry of our family. The Youngs began singing as a family group in September 2000, although most had been singing in other groups in the past.  Bill and Dianne Bill was born 8/16/1953. Saved, June/1966. Began preaching January 1974. Piedmont Bible College 1975-1979. Assocate Pastor/Youth at Hunter Hills Baptist 1977-1984. Sang with the Brothers in Christ 1980-1991. Assocate Pastor at Reedy Fork Baptist 1991-2004. That is the basics. No need to bore you with a list of this and that because it's all about Him (Jesus) anyway. Dianne is employed by Vandalia Christian School. She sings and plays piano. Dianne was attending Liberty Bible College before getting married in December 1974.  Bill III and Marla Billy and Marla are owners of Soundwave Studios, a recording studio just outside of Greensboro, NC. Billy also traveled with the Brothers in Christ from the time he was fourteen, singing tenor, and playing bass, guitar and mandolin. He graduated from Full Sail University with a degree in the recording arts, and has also picked up the dobro, the fiddle and the drums. He went on to run sound for the "Hoppers" until getting married. Marla was also raised in southern gospel music, despite being a native of western Canada! She graduated with a degree in Music Education and plays piano, guitar and bass, along with several wind instruments. Billy and Marla have served as youth and music directors in their churches, and Marla is currently teaching preschool and early elementary music as well as all instrumental and band music up through high school at Vandalia Christian School. They have three children, Lane, Erin, and Evelyn who are also exploring their musical gifts! Billy along with his Dad also does audio,video, and projection installation, providing quality sound to meet the needs of churches and business. Visit that web site for details, or contact Billy at 336-492-3192.  Brad and Janet Brad and Janet have been married since September of 2001, and in March of 2007 they had their first child. Their little baby girl is Riley Hope Young. Brad works for the state and Janet is a nurse in Reidsville. Brad led music at their church this past year and has also been singing with The Brothers In Christ since he was 15. Brad been writing songs for a few years now, and a couple of them were on the "When He Sees Me" album. We plan to record more of them in the future. Brad plays the bass guitar, and a little bit of 6 string. They reside in Reidsville, NC.  Becky works at BB&T so she keeps our bank account in order. |
